Earlier, during the forum’s inaugural session held on December 6, Jaishankar spoke about expanding cooperation in key areas such as semiconductors, defence, economic ties and technology. He underlined the need to build resilient supply chains, boost digital governance and strengthen the role of the Quad in the Indo-Pacific region.
He also spoke about the rise in Indian foreign travel, noting a steady increase in passport issuance and overseas tourism.
