Akash, Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, conducted a surprise inspection of the post-matric and pre-matric student hostels in Parashurampura village, Challakere Taluk. He visited all student rooms, kitchen, dining area, and toilets, advising staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
He emphasized that students should be provided with nutritious, hygienic, and tasty meals along with access to safe drinking water. Dr. Akash also shared a meal with the students and interacted with them, encouraging cleanliness both inside and outside the hostel premises. During a dialogue with SSLC students, he stressed the importance of focusing on their studies, planning for higher education, and preparing for a bright future. He also instructed students to avoid mobile phone distractions and prioritize academic learning.
Following this, Dr. Akash visited the Primary Health Centre in Parashurampura, where he checked attendance records, examined the facilities, and inspected patient rooms. He received updates from doctors and staff regarding the centre’s functioning and emphasized maintaining cleanliness and providing high-quality treatment to patients. He also interacted with patients, advising them to monitor their health regularly and encouraging villagers to utilize the health centre for check-ups.
