BENGALURU:
MLA S.T. Somashekar said that quality will be given top priority in all road development and asphalting works in the constituency.
Speaking after launching the asphalting work of Century Apartment and LIC Layout roads in Hemmigepura ward of Yeshwantpur Assembly constituency, he said the initiative follows repeated public requests, as the roads had been badly damaged by rains, causing inconvenience to residents and commuters.
He warned contractors to ensure high-quality work, stating that strict action would be taken against those found responsible for substandard work.
Former Zilla Panchayat member Shivamadaiah, Kengeri Block Congress President Mailasandra Nagaraj, Youth Congress President M. Arun Kumar, former Block Congress President Amruth Gowda, Manjunath, and several others were present on the occasion.
