A man stands accused of sending obscenely edited photos of his own mother to his daughter and coercing her into sending nude pictures. An FIR has been filed at the Amruthahalli police station based on the complaint of an 18-year-old victim.
According to the complaint, the victim received a manipulated photo of her mother via an Instagram account in September last year. The perpetrator then threatened to circulate the edited image unless the victim complied with his demands to send him nude photos. Fearing for her mother’s reputation, the victim reluctantly sent the requested photos to the fraudster.
Subsequently, the accused proceeded to share the compromising photos with the victim’s friends and even her brother-in-law. After enduring six months of harassment from an unidentified individual, the victim decided to approach the authorities and lodged a formal complaint with the Amruthahalli police.
Law enforcement officials, who have initiated an investigation into the matter, suspect that the perpetrator may be someone acquainted with the victim. They have begun questioning individuals within the victim’s social circle and acquaintances to ascertain the identity of the culprit.
