City Takes Center Stage In PM Modi’s Election Campaign Trail

Bengaluru is set to witness a flurry of election campaign activities led by PM Narendra Modi, with focus on the Chikkaballapur and Kolar Lok Sabha constituencies. V. Sunil Kumar, BJP Election Management Committee State Coordinator and State General Secretary, announced that the campaign meeting, scheduled for the afternoon of the 20th April, is expected to draw a massive crowd of around 1 lakh attendees.

In a press briefing held on wedensday, Kumar outlined the agenda, revealing plans for a significant public gathering at the palace ground in Bangalore later in the evening. This assembly will encompass constituencies from across Bangalore, including South, Central, North, and Rural areas.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Karnataka is also on the agenda, with campaign meetings scheduled for the 23rd and 24th. Shah is set to kickstart his engagements with a road show in Yeshwantpur followed by a public meeting in Yelahanka. Later in the day, a road show is planned in the Bommanahalli assembly constituency, followed by another within the Mahadevpur assembly constituency.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lead meetings on the 24th in Karnataka. His itinerary includes a morning road show in the RR Nagar assembly constituency, followed by a public meeting in Madikeri in the afternoon and another in Malpe, Udupi, in the evening.

National President JP Nadda shared that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit the state on the 24th, further underlining the BJP’s commitment to the electoral battleground.
