Local MLA Rajesh Naik U presided over a crucial College Development Committee (CDC) meeting at the Government First Grade College in Vamadapadavu, mapping out aggressive growth strategies to elevate the institution’s standing in the Dakshina Kannada region.
The primary focus of the high-level gathering was to boost student enrollment figures for the upcoming academic session. The committee emphasized the need for active involvement from local villagers to strengthen community outreach, ensuring that rural students are fully aware of the educational opportunities available at their doorstep.
Reviewing the current challenges faced by the institution, committee members placed special emphasis on expediting stalled campus construction projects. To ensure a safe and proper learning environment, the MLA extended firm assurances that completing the campus boundary wall and finishing the partially built assembly hall would be tackled on an urgent, priority basis.
