The Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited online applications for fresh hostel admissions for Post Matric PUC students for the 2026-27 academic year. Eligible students from Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and P.Ja or P.Varga can apply between May 25 and June 15 through the department portal. Boys and girls studying in Gadag district can submit applications online. Parents’ annual income should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh for SC and ST students and Rs. 1 lakh for other eligible categories.
