MVJ College of Engineering hosted its flagship academic event, Project Expo 2026, bringing together student innovators, industry leaders and academicians under the theme “Youth and Innovation: Building Modern India.” Held at the Dr MV Jayaraman Auditorium, the expo featured projects from mechanical, computer science and electrical sciences streams. The event witnessed participation from 41 colleges across Karnataka and neighbouring states, with more than 250 projects showcased. After a multi-stage evaluation process, nearly 60 projects advanced to the final round. Speakers highlighted the importance of innovation, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and emerging technologies in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. A book titled Engineering Tomorrow: A Compendium of Youth Innovations was released during the inaugural session. The expo concluded with prize distribution carrying a total cash award of Rs 2 lakh.
