Rajasthan witnesses heatwave and cloudy skies simultaneously

Jaipur Rajasthan, these days, is witnessing a rare weather as intense heat is being recorded in parts of the western part of the state while rains and winds are lashing in other parts of the state, weather officials said on Friday. In last 24 hours, while Jaisalmer recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state at 45.1 degrees Celsius, Dausa registered the highest rainfall of 14.2 mm rainfall. Meanwhile, several districts of eastern Rajasthan witnessed rain, gusty winds, and hailstorms, while western Rajasthan continued to reel under scorching heat, with temperatures crossing 45 degrees Celsius in some areas
