Kalaburagi
Several passengers were injured in a head-on collision between two KSRTC buses near Siranur village in Kalaburagi taluk. One bus was travelling from Jewargi towards Kalaburagi, while the other was moving in the opposite direction when the accident occurred. Reports suggest the crash happened after one of the drivers attempted to overtake a car and ended up hitting the oncoming bus. The impact was severe, shattering the front windshield of one bus and damaging the other. The driver and several passengers sustained injuries, while others had minor wounds. The injured were rushed to Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) Hospital for treatment with help from locals. The accident caused long traffic delays before police restored normal movement.
