Two motorcycle riders were killed on the spot in a tragic road accident near Masabinal in Basavan Bagewadi taluk of Vijayapura district. According to police sources, the accident occurred when two bikes collided head-on, resulting in the instant death of both riders. The deceased have been identified as Santosh Lalu Chavan (32), a resident of Ingaleshwar Tanda, and Bheemangouda Patil (45) from Deginal village.Another person sustained serious injuries in the accident and was shifted to the Government Hospital in Basavan Bagewadi for treatment.Managuli police rushed to the spot, conducted an inspection, and registered a case. Further investigation is underway.
