Intro: Workers Unpaid for Months, Minister Orders Action on Labour Law Violations

In a shocking development, Matrix Agro Private Limited, operating under Polakpalli Gram Panchayat limits in Chincholi taluk, has been abruptly shut down, allegedly violating labour laws and leaving around 120 worker families in severe distress. A delegation of workers, led by Maruti Ganjageri, met Labour Minister Santosh Lad at Vikas Soudha and submitted a memorandum seeking justice for the affected workers. According to the workers, the company, which had been functioning for nearly 13–14 years, was closed overnight on February 5 without any prior notice. A closure notice was reportedly pasted at midnight, leaving employees stranded and uncertain about their future.
