39,597 Students Appear for SSLC Examination

A total of 39,597 students appeared for the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examination held on Tuesday in Vijayapura district, according to the Department of School Education.

Out of 40,448 students who had registered for the examination, 851 candidates remained absent. Officials confirmed that the examination was conducted smoothly across all centres without any major disruptions.

The Deputy Director of the School Education Department stated in an official release that no student was debarred from appearing for the examination. Adequate arrangements had been made to ensure a fair and transparent process, including proper invigilation and adherence to guidelines issued by the authorities.

The examination centres witnessed good attendance, reflecting the preparedness and commitment of the students. Authorities also ensured necessary facilities for students, including seating arrangements and strict monitoring to prevent malpractice. Officials expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conduct of the examination and appreciated the cooperation of students, staff, and parents. Further examinations in the SSLC schedule are expected to continue under similar arrangements, ensuring a smooth and disciplined environment for all candidates.
