Tumakuru
Leaders of the Bhim Army in Tumakuru district have urged the national leadership to appoint a new state president for Karnataka, citing organizational challenges and the need for stronger leadership. A formal appeal has been submitted by district leaders of the Bhim Army, emphasizing the urgent need to appoint a new state president to lead the organization in Karnataka. The request was made by district president Ayyanapalya Srinivas, who addressed the concern through a written communication to senior national leaders, including Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan and Vinay Ratan Singh, along with state-level coordinators.
According to the appeal, the organization has been facing leadership issues for the past two months due to the absence of a state president. Leaders stated that this gap has weakened the functioning of the organization and affected its ability to respond effectively to ongoing social challenges. They stressed that the Bhim Army plays a crucial role in addressing issues related to marginalized communities and requires strong leadership to continue its work.
The letter highlighted concerns over alleged injustices and challenges faced by certain communities in the state. It pointed out that there is a growing need for an active leadership structure to ensure that the rights and welfare of these communities are protected. The leaders also emphasized the importance of having a dedicated state president who can coordinate efforts across districts and strengthen the organization’s presence.
In their appeal, the district leadership recommended the name of Avinash S L, a practicing advocate and an active member of the organization, for the position of state president. They described him as a committed and capable leader who has been actively involved in organizational activities and has demonstrated strong leadership qualities.
The appeal concluded with a request to the national leadership to consider the proposal at the earliest and appoint a new state president to revitalize the organization’s activities in Karnataka. Leaders expressed confidence that timely action would help strengthen the Bhim Army’s mission and expand its reach across the state.
