The countdown to the historic Karaga Mahotsav celebrations has begun. Devotees are eagerly awaiting the sight of the world-famous Karaga carrying a flower garland in the moonlight of Chaitra Purnima. The Karaga Shaktyotsava will be held on the Chaitra Pournami day of April 1. This time too, A Gyanendra will be carrying the Karaga. This time the Karaga Utsav is full of many special features, and lighting arrangements have been made in the Karaga like the Mysore Dasara. The streets of Dharmaraya Temple, roads leading to Karaga like JC Road, Corporation Road, GBA office premises, SP Road, Avenue Road, KR Market, Hudson Circle, Halasuru Gate Circle, and Corporation Circle are decorated with lights. The lighting is attracting the attention of the onlookers.
