Chintamani
Changavarahalli village, located on the border of Shidlaghatta and Chintamani taluks, has been struggling with unclear administrative jurisdiction for a long time. Villagers say that the confusion over which taluk the village officially belongs to has resulted in delays and neglect in accessing essential government services. According to residents, officials from both taluks often shift responsibility onto each other, leaving the villagers in a state of uncertainty. This has affected the delivery of welfare schemes, issuance of documents, and development works in the area. Basic infrastructure such as roads, water supply, and sanitation has reportedly been neglected due to the lack of clear governance. Villagers have expressed frustration over the situation, stating that they are forced to travel to different offices in both taluks to resolve even simple issues.
