Actors Bhoomi Shetty and Malashree are set to appear in key roles in the upcoming Kannada film Kendada Seragu, which focuses on a woman’s fight for self-respect. The film team recently shared glimpses and behind-the-scenes visuals, creating curiosity among audiences.
Directed by Rocky Somli, the film blends a crime investigation story with a strong social message. This project also marks Rocky Somli’s debut as a director. The story is based on a novel written by him and revolves around wrestling, adding a unique angle to the narrative.
Bhoomi Shetty, who became popular through television and reality shows, plays the role of a wrestler. The team has released visuals showing her training and preparation, highlighting her dedication to the character. Meanwhile, Malashree, widely known as Sandalwood’s Action Queen, returns to the screen in a powerful police officer role after a long gap.
The story also addresses serious issues faced by women in society, including betrayal in the name of love. It follows a young woman who is deceived by someone she trusts and pushed into dangerous and unethical situations. At a crucial point, Malashree’s character steps in to investigate the case, expose a criminal network, and bring out the truth.
The film features a large supporting cast, including Shobhita, Prathima Thakur, Mohan Kumar, Vardhan, Yash Shetty, Sindhu Lokanath, and Harish Arasu.
