VP Radhakrishnan, Leaders Extend Warm New Year Wishes

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta wished citizens a happy New Year, urging hope, unity, active participation, and commitment to a prosperous, inclusive, and well-governed capital in 2026

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan met President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday, exchanging warm greetings for the New Year 2026. He also wished citizens peace, health, and prosperity, hoping the year strengthens India’s growth and unity.

Radhakrishnan’s greetings follow similar messages from other leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the nation a happy and prosperous 2026, praying for societal peace, good health, and success in personal and professional lives. Modi highlighted the importance of collective progress and fulfillment for all citizens.

Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan extended special greetings to farmers, workers, labourers, women, and rural communities. He emphasised the government’s efforts to strengthen agriculture, improve rural infrastructure, and raise farmers’ incomes under PM Modi’s leadership. Chouhan described farmers as the nation’s food providers and workers as the backbone of India’s economy, stressing that their welfare remains a top priority.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also conveyed New Year wishes, calling for hope, positive energy, and steady progress for the capital’s citizens. She highlighted the importance of citizen trust and participation in achieving development and good governance. Gupta expressed commitment to public welfare and building an inclusive, strong, and prosperous Delhi in the coming year.
