Congress workers celebrated DK Suresh’s birthday meaningfully by extending financial assistance for anganwadi children’s uniforms in Bilagumba

Congress leaders and workers in Bilagumba village of Ramanagara taluk marked the 60th birthday of former Member of Parliament and BAMUL President D.K. Suresh in a meaningful manner by extending financial assistance for the distribution of uniforms to anganwadi children. The initiative highlighted a blend of celebration and social responsibility, reflecting the values associated with the senior Congress leader.
As part of the celebrations on Thursday, special prayers were offered at the Sri Basaveshwara Swamy Temple in the village. Following the rituals, party workers cut a cake and shared it among themselves to mark the occasion. The event, however, went beyond festivities, as financial support was provided to facilitate uniform distribution for anganwadi children, drawing appreciation from villagers and local leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, former Taluk Panchayat member Pranesh said that the birthday of former MP and BAMUL President D.K. Suresh was being celebrated in a socially meaningful way by the youth. He prayed for Suresh’s good health and long life, expressing hope that he would attain higher political responsibilities and continue serving the people with greater strength and dedication.
Pranesh also recalled the developmental works carried out by D.K. Suresh during his tenure as a Member of Parliament, stating that his contributions to the constituency remain clearly visible. He noted that as BAMUL President, Suresh has taken several progressive and farmer-friendly decisions for the welfare of dairy farmers. He further praised efforts to expand markets for Nandini products beyond the state and at the international level.
Congress Youth Wing district general secretary Santosh said the birthday celebrations were deliberately planned in a purposeful manner. He stated that D.K. Suresh has played a crucial role in building a strong base of young Congress workers and continues to inspire emerging youth leaders within the party.
