To accommodate the growing population, the NICE Road (Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises) from Bengaluru to Mysuru has been constructed, facilitating smooth and uninterrupted traffic flow, stated Ashok Shankarappa Kheny, Managing Director of NICE company.
He was speaking after conferring degrees to a total of 4,527 students from Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) across undergraduate, postgraduate, engineering, and non-engineering streams.
Kheny highlighted the significance of the NICE Road in India, mentioning that the company has undertaken 43 different projects. He noted that the Peripheral Ring Road connecting Bengaluru to Mangaluru has been beneficial. The NICE Road from Bengaluru to Mysuru has been particularly helpful. Nandi Infra Ltd. was established in 2011, and so far, the roads have remained free of potholes. He added that if any road damage occurs, funds are available for prompt repairs.
Balumurugan, Co-founder of HCL-GUVI, was the Chief Guest. In his address, he asked the students to congratulate themselves. He assured them that those who study at DSI have a bright future, with a 90% job guarantee for its students, thanks to a dedicated placement cell. He advised that failure to achieve one’s goal, regardless of how big the job attained, indicates a setback. He emphasized the need for self-preservation and good studies, along with a focus on where they choose to work. The institution teaches children not just education but also how to live life.
Shamanth spoke about the strong business ties between India and Japan, noting that Japan represents four generations of population. He highlighted that agreements worth hundreds of crores were signed between India and Japan between 2000 and 2012, with the Japanese expected to invest thousands of crores in the next 10 years, which will help in global growth.
Dr Premachandra Sagar advised students to strengthen themselves, emphasizing that intelligence should accompany education. He praised the institution as a beacon of education, excelling in all departments and spearheading a revolution in the education sector, achieving breakthroughs year after year in digital, cyber, AI, investment, business, technology, and engineering fields. He urged students to utilize opportunities in co-curricular and extracurricular activities alongside the main curriculum.
