Mangaluru: A felicitation ceremony was held in Mangaluru to honour Ahmed Mudassar, who recently took charge as the President of the Canara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI). The event, organised by the Gadiaar Group of Companies under the leadership of Ibrahim Gadiyar, brought together several political and business leaders from across the region.
Former MLA Moydeen Bava, entrepreneur S. M. Rasheed, and Dr. U. T. Iftikhar Ali, President of the Karnataka State Health Council, were among the dignitaries who attended the programme. Speakers at the event hailed Mudassar’s appointment as a recognition of his dynamic leadership and long-standing contribution to the city’s trade and industry sectors.
Dr. Iftikhar Ali described the occasion as “a happy milestone” for Mangaluru’s business community, expressing confidence that Mudassar would work towards accelerating industrial and IT park development, and strengthen the Chamber’s engagement with entrepreneurs and investors.
In his response, Ahmed Mudassar thanked the Gadiaar Group for the felicitation and said he was committed to promoting inclusive industrial growth in the coastal region. The programme concluded with a networking dinner attended by leading members of the city’s business fraternity.
