Prasanth Varma, one of Tollywood’s most innovative filmmakers, continues to push boundaries with each project. After introducing the zombie genre to Telugu cinema and delivering India’s first original superhero film Hanuman, he is now preparing for his next ambitious venture with Arkédi Studios.
The upcoming film, titled Adhira, promises to be a large-scale superhero story that will mark the debut of Kalyan Dasari as a fresh face in the industry. Joining him is seasoned actor S. J. Suryah, who plays a key role in the narrative. The movie is being produced by Niranjan Reddy under Arkédi Studios and directed by Sharan Kopisetty, further adding weight to the project.
What makes Adhira stand out is its blend of Indian history with a modern superhero theme. The film will be a part of the expanding Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), offering audiences another unique storyline. The first-look poster of S. J. Suryah has already caught attention, sparking curiosity about his role.
Kalyan Dasari’s superhero avatar has also impressed fans, showcasing his strong screen presence in the promotional material. At its heart, Adhira tells the story of a hero who rises to protect justice, wrapped in thunderous action sequences, striking visuals, and powerful music.
With its scale, creativity, and connection to the PVCU, Adhira is shaping up to be a refreshing addition to Indian superhero cinema and is already generating strong anticipation among audiences.
