Gunadharanandi Maharaj of Navagraha Tirthakshetra said that a request has been made to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to implement a new law to control hostile activities against monasteries, temples, saints and religious authorities.
Speaking at a press conference at the Navagraha Theertha Kshetra in nearby Varur on Thursday, he said, a delegation of saints including Vachanananda Swamiji, Immadi Siddarameshwara Sri, and Shanta Mallikarjuna Swamiji recently met Amit Shah and appealed for the protection of the religious site, saints, and religious authorities, and the Home Minister has also responded to this.
