Educational Kits Distribution

Karkala

A programme to distribute educational materials to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students will be held on May 24 in Karkala, organisers announced. The initiative is being organised by Karnataka Jai Bhim Yuva Sena with the aim of supporting students from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

According to organisers, around 2,000 students studying from Classes 1 to 10 will benefit from the programme. Essential educational items, including school bags and other study materials, will be distributed free of cost to help students prepare for the upcoming academic year.

The organisers stated that the initiative is intended to reduce the financial burden on families and encourage students to continue their education without difficulties. They emphasised that access to basic learning materials is crucial for improving academic performance and ensuring equal opportunities for all sections of society.

Community leaders and local representatives are expected to participate in the event and extend their support to the students. The programme is also seen as an effort to promote awareness about the importance of education among underprivileged communities.

Organisers further highlighted that such initiatives play a key role in empowering students and motivating them to pursue their studies with confidence. They expressed hope that similar programmes would be conducted regularly to benefit a larger number of students in the future.

The event is expected to witness significant participation from students, parents, and community members, making it a meaningful step toward educational inclusion in the region.
