Police have launched a search for a tender coconut seller accused of attacking a stray dog with a sickle in KR Pura. An FIR has been registered against the unidentified man under BNS Section 352 and provisions of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. According to police, the incident occurred at Muniyappa Layout in KR Pura II Stage around 8.30 am on April 25. A video of the incident reportedly shows the man entering a house compound with a sickle after claiming the stray dog barked at him. Despite efforts by house owner Siddalingappa to calm him, the man allegedly attacked the dog.
