US President Donald Trump, while signing executive orders on Tuesday, expressed his support for legal immigration, emphasizing its importance for economic growth. I'm fine with legal immigration. I like it. We need people because many companies will come to the US to avoid tariffs, Trump told reporters at the Oval Office.

Regarding Israel-Saudi relations, Trump stated, I think Saudi Arabia will eventually join the Abraham Accords, though not warmly yet. The Abraham Accords, brokered during Trump's first term in 2020, normalized Israel's ties with countries like the UAE, as reported by source. However, Saudi Arabia has delayed normalizing relations with Israel since the Gaza war in October 2023, maintaining its stance of requiring a Palestinian state first.

Trump also addressed Greenland, calling it a wonderful place essential for international security. Denmark spends a lot to maintain it, and Greenlanders aren’t happy. With Russian and Chinese ships in the area, we need it for security, he said. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, however, reaffirmed Greenland’s sovereignty, stating, Only Greenland will decide its future, during a call with Trump on January 17. Greenlandic PM Mute Egede also asserted, Greenland is not for sale, according to source.

Trump’s remarks highlight ongoing global tensions, including immigration, Middle Eastern diplomacy, and Arctic security, showcasing his administration’s strategic priorities.
