The Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Surrey, British Columbia, was recently vandalized with pro-Khalistan graffiti, marking the third such attack at the same location. The incident occurred at around 3 a.m. when two individuals spray-painted the temple walls and removed a security camera.

A Canadian journalist who visited the site shared a video, highlighting the damage. “The temple management and devotees feel ignored by the police and political authorities,” the journalist reported.

Canadian MP Chandra Arya condemned the act, describing it as a "chilling reminder" of Khalistani extremism's growing influence in Canada. Arya emphasized that these attacks are part of a well-coordinated and well-funded effort by Khalistani groups to silence Hindu voices across the country. He also mentioned the recent defacing of the Khalsa Diwan Society’s Gurdwara in Vancouver, which was also targeted by Khalistani slogans.

Arya called for immediate action, urging both Hindu and Sikh Canadians to demand a strong response from the government. He warned that failure to act would allow these extremist forces to continue their campaign of fear and division.

The ongoing incidents have raised concerns about religious tolerance, public safety, and the rising influence of extremist factions in Canadian society. Authorities are under pressure to protect places of worship and maintain communal harmony.
