At least 10 people were killed and over 200 injured when Iranian missiles struck several civilian areas in Israel on Saturday night, prompting strong condemnation from Israeli President Isaac Herzog.

Calling it "a very sad and difficult morning," Herzog expressed deep grief over the deadly attacks on cities including Bat Yam, Tamra, and Tel Aviv. He said Jews, Arabs, immigrants, and children were among the victims. “We will mourn together. We will overcome together,” Herzog said on social media.

The missile strikes left widespread destruction, with Bat Yam among the hardest hit. Authorities are still searching for about 20 missing individuals. Israel’s Home Front Command’s Search and Rescue Brigade is working at multiple attack sites.

The Israeli Defense Forces confirmed four deaths at one location alone, while hundreds were injured in different regions. Hospitals across central Israel are treating the wounded, some in critical condition.

Wolfson Medical Center in Holon is treating 65 people, five critically. Shamir Medical Center has 28 patients, including one in critical condition. Sheba Medical Center and Assuta Medical Center are also caring for dozens of victims, with several in serious condition.

Six people are undergoing psychological treatment for trauma-related anxiety following the attack.

This deadly strike is part of the ongoing military escalation between Iran and Israel. The Israeli government has promised a firm response, as the region faces growing fears of a wider conflict.
