Child Actor Austin Majors From NYPD Blue Dies At 27

Austin Majors, a former child actor, passed away at the age of 27. He passed away on Saturday in Los Angeles. He was best recognized for his part in NYPD Blue. The LA County Medical Examiner-Coroner pronounced him dead.
Resided at a homeless shelter in downtown Los Angeles and was featured in the Los Angeles Daily News last week when L.A. mayor Karen Bass visited the facility. Records kept by the medical examiner indicate that the cause of death is still being investigated.
He made appearances in a number of television programs, such as "ER" and a two-episode voice role in the 2005 "Hercules" miniseries. Through 2007, Majors also had appearances on NCIS, According to Jim, and Desperate Housewives.
