Guru Siddarameshwara stands in the line of Allama Prabhu and Akkamahadevi, former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said. Guru Siddarameshwara, who travelled across the state for social and vachana kranti and quenched the thirst for water of the people and gave the society devotion to work, pro-agriculture and good ideals, has always been a driving force. He was speaking at the Guru Siddarameshwara Jayanthi programme held in Tiptur town.
For the past many years, I have been participating in Guru Siddarameshwara's programme. I will participate wherever his programme takes place. I have immense devotion towards the mutts and seers of the state and when I was the CM, I had brought many schemes for farmers and milk producers. He recalled that he had given funds for the development of monasteries.
Parents used to shed tears when daughters were born. I Implemented the Bhagyalakshmi Scheme and wiper those tears. Today, 25 lakh girls have received the Bhagyalakshmi scheme money. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made his own contribution by doing many development works. The whole world is praising the Prime Minister. He has not taken a single day's rest in the last 8 years. They are taking our country to great heights, He praised Modi as a role model for youngsters.

Sirigere Tharalabalu Sri said that the leaders of our community should not make personal attacks on anyone, no matter which party they are in. The sufferings of the people should be removed. In political meetings, abuses, personal issues, derogatory remarks are on the rise and a bad atmosphere is being created. Personal abuses will send a bad message to the people, he said.
