Vijaya Tiranga Yatra continued even in rain
SHIVAMOGGA
The Vijaya Tiranga Yatra, which was held to express gratitude to the soldiers who successfully destroyed the bases of Pakistani terrorists, was successfully held even in the rain. The Yatra was organised by the Citizens’ Forum.
The Tiranga Yatra, which started from Manna Shresthi Park, was carried out with the Indian National flag, which was about 700 meters long. Just as the yatra was starting, it started raining. It was special that students and citizens carried the National flag without stopping the yatra despite the rain. About a thousand people carried the National flag even in the rain. The yatra was aimed at awakening patriotism in every person. Many people, including ex-servicemen, nationalists, and patriots, participated in the yatra.
Later, speaking at the forum, Prof Puneeth Kumar reminded the gathering of the strength of our country's soldiers. “The Indian army attacked even though it knew that Pakistan could drop a nuclear bomb at any time. Our soldiers returned after conducting air strikes in the Pulwama attack. Our army is working to destroy those who look at India with a distorted view," he said.
Speaking later, MP BY Raghavendra said that it was special that they conducted the Tiranga Yatra even in the rain. “Indian soldiers have shown that Pakistan will not survive if they come to touch the vermilion of Mother India. The Tiranga Yatra is being conducted to give courage to the sisters who lost their saffron in Pahalgam. We must ensure that Indian National flag does not come down. Pakistan has betrayed us by drinking the water of our country's Indus River. They are betraying us by eating our country's food. We must fight against our external and internal enemies,” he said.
