Talent awards by District Journalists’ Association

As part of the Press Day celebrations, a talent award programme was held for SSLC and PUC students at Kandagal Sri Hanumantharaya Ranga Mandir.

Bhagyashree Basavaraj Kumbara, a student of SDK High School in Nagarbetta, who scored the highest marks in the SSLC examination in Muddebihal taluk, was honored with the talent award by Industries, Infrastructure Development and District In-charge Minister MB Patil, Textiles, Sugarcane Development and Sugar and APMC Minister Shivanand S Patil.

On this occasion, the programme organized by the District Journalists' Association was attended by association's State President Shivanand Tagdoor, State General Secretary GC Lokesh, State Vice President Bhawanisingh Thakur, Senior Journalist Gopal Nayak, District President Prakash Bennur, General Secretary Mohan Kulkarni, Vice President Indushekar Manoor, National Board Member Mahesh V Shatagara, State Committee Members KK Kulkarni, Kaushalya Panalkar, SP Lakshman Nimbargi, DySP Basavaraj Yaligara, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vijayakumar Mekkalaki, Information and Public Relations Officer Amaresh Dodamani, district and taluk Working Journalists’ association members.
