Strengthen Party and Uplift Communities: HM Ramesh Gowda

Janata Dal (Secular) Bengaluru City Unit President and former MLA HM Ramesh Gowda has called for strengthening the party’s organisational structure at all levels, especially the Scheduled Caste Division.

Speaking at a meeting of the City Scheduled Caste Division office-bearers at JP Bhavan, the party’s state headquarters, he emphasised that building the party from the grassroots is just as vital as uplifting grassroots communities. “Social justice and the welfare of all people are the core principles of our party, envisioned by HD Deve Gowda,” he said.

Ramesh Gowda urged leaders to work with unity and consensus to enhance the party’s base and ensure meaningful representation for marginalised communities.

Former MLA and State President of the Scheduled Caste Division, Dr K Annadani, also addressed the gathering.

The meeting saw participation from City Scheduled Caste Division President Velu, former MLA KA Thippeswamy, City In-charge Jagadish Nagarajaiah, District Election Officer and Women’s Division President Shaila Santoji Rao, Gram Panchayat Member Tara Lokesh, South Lok Sabha Constituency President TR Tulsi Ram, and several other party leaders.
