Mysuru witnessed a unique blend of faith and sportsmanship as ardent fans gathered at the Amruteshwara Temple on Diwan Road to pray for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) cricket team’s success in the IPL final against Punjab at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

A special Vijaya Durga Homa was performed under the guidance of the temple’s chief priest, Sri Mai Kumar, seeking divine blessings for the RCB players. Fans, dressed in RCB jerseys, actively participated in the spiritual ritual, creating a vibrant atmosphere charged with hope and devotion.

MLA Harish Gowda, also sporting an RCB jersey, joined the ceremony and expressed optimism about RCB clinching the championship. He lauded the team’s dedication, singling out Virat Kohli’s outstanding batting form and wishing the team victory. Other notable attendees included Devaraja Block President Ramesh Rayappa, Karnataka Protection Forum President Vinay Kumar, Gururaj Shetty, Naveen, and many enthusiastic supporters.

Special Car Celebrates RCB Spirit

In a remarkable show of fandom, local supporters Deepak, Shreyas, and Praneeth unveiled a specially customized car themed entirely around RCB. Modified at CarMed in the Hebbalu Industrial Area, the vehicle features the team’s name in Kannada, stickers of Virat Kohli, other players, and IPL-winning RCB women’s team, proudly showcasing their love for the franchise.

Before the car’s maiden journey through Mysuru and Bengaluru, a prayer was offered to Goddess Chamundeshwari for the team’s success. The car now tours the city, spreading RCB spirit and energizing fans ahead of the big match.
