Social activist gifts Kodanchu to oxen

On Sri Jagajyoti Basaveshwara Jayanti, a social activist and gold businessman, Sunil Varnekar, gifted Panchaloha silver Kodanchu to the oxen pairs of a farmer family in rural Belavadi village, Bailahongal taluk. A grand procession of oxen, decorated with oxen stones, was held to celebrate the occasion. Sunil Varnekar, known for his social work, gifted over 150 pairs of oxen with these sacred items and honored the farmers with green shawls. The event was attended by various villagers, including Arjuna Kempannavara and Shivananda Bhojaiahvara.
