The Siddheshwara Temple here enriches the historical heritage of the region. Witnessing the sun's rays directly touch the Siddheshwara Lingam in the sanctum during sunset on Yugadi day is truly a mesmerizing experience.

Mulagund, which served as the administrative capital of the Belvola 300 region, is home to temples renowned for their historical sculpture and architecture. The temple is located near the entrance archway on the southern side of the village and features exquisite carvings that reflect the finest craftsmanship.

The temple complex comprises three sanctums, each housing a different Ishwara Lingam. Historical accounts suggest that the Siddheshwara Temple was built during the Hoysala period.

This rare temple showcases splendid sculptural works carved into black stone at the lower levels of the structure, and features vine-like designs and decorated pillars at its entrances. Inscriptions from the era of historical kings have been preserved here. The youth of the area actively engage in environmental conservation by planting saplings in the temple’s premises. It is noteworthy that thousands of devotees gather at the temple every Yugadi to partake in these wondrous moments.

The Siddheshwara Chariot Festival will be celebrated with grandeur at 5 PM on March 30, Sunday, accompanied by traditional musical performances. Additionally, an "Anubhava Gosthi" will take place at 7 PM, featuring the release of the second edition of Dr. Dhanavant Hajavagoal’s comprehensive study titled ‘Mulagund Nadu’. This announcement was made by Basavaraj Sukapur, the president of the festival committee.
