Siddaramaiah’s Mentality Of Preventing Pujas In Departments Exposed, Nalin Kumar Kateel
MANGALURU
Reacting to DK Shivakumar's statement that saffronisation will not be tolerated in the police department, BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel said that every citizen is allowed to follow his religion in all constitutionally run departments. In the last 16 years, we have seen that pujas are performed on religious grounds in all departments. The Congress is trying to stop this. His dirty politics and Siddaramaiah's mentality have been exposed by this, he said.
It is not right for a CM to constitutionally obstruct the religious practices of the people. Pujas that have been performed from the past are performed in some departments. Based on beliefs, Ayudha Puja is performed in KSRTC and police stations. It is not right to ban and boycott such pujas. The dirty politics of confining the policemen who perform puja to one party is being done by the Congress, he said.
