Shorapur Bypoll, Raju Gowda Gets BJP Ticket

BJP has announced its candidate for the Shorapur assembly constituency by-election and has given ticket to former Minister Raju Gowda.

Polling will be held on May 7 for the Shorapur constituency, which was vaccated due to the untimely death of MLA Raja Venkatappa Naik, and the results will be announced on June 4.

BJP released the list of candidates for the by-elections of 5 assembly constituencies of Gujarat, 2 West Bengal and 6 assembly constituencies of Himachal Pradesh including Shorapur assembly constituency.

Raja Venugopala Naik son of Raja Venkatappa Naik, has entered the fray as a candidate from the Congress party.
