Public Must Make Use of Health Care Facility: MLA Jarkiholi

Inaugurating a modern Community Health Centre built for the benefit of poor patients in the Koujalagi area, MLA and BEMUL Chairman Balachandra Jarkiholi called upon the public to make full use of the facility. After inaugurating the newly constructed 30-bed Community Health Centre built at a cost of ₹12 crore in Koujalagi town of Gokak taluk. He said, “looking at this new hospital, one gets the feeling of visiting a hospital in far-off Belagavi or Bengaluru, he said”.
Built at a cost of around Rs 12 crore, this Community Health Centre will have services of five specialist doctors available to the public. With the provision of quality medical care, it will be a boon to poor patients. All the facilities available in big city hospitals will now be accessible here, he added.
Steps will be taken to fill the vacant staff posts to make the hospital more convenient for patients. Residential quarters for medical staff will also be constructed in the coming days.
“For road improvements in the Arabhavi constituency, PWD Minister Satish Jarkiholi has already sanctioned Rs 30 crore and has promised to release another Rs 30 crore. With this total grant of Rs 60 crore, major roads will be developed,” he said.
