No Unnecessary Confusion, DK Shivakumar Instructs To Postpone Vokkaliga Meeting

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said that he has instructed the office bearers of the Vokkaligara Sangha to not create confusion by holding a meeting right now on the issue of caste census, postpone the meeting. I will talk to you on this issue.

Speaking near his Sadashivanagar residence on Sunday, he responded to the meeting with the office bearers of the Vokkaligara Sangh and said, I have not held any meeting. I do not need it. It was decided to hold a separate meeting on Sunday on the caste census issue. I have informed that I will not participate in that meeting. We have promised to postpone the meeting and ensure that no one is wronged.

 The new group of office bearers of the Vokkaligara Sangha had come to meet me after reaching a compromise. I have warned them that if there is any further conflict among the office bearers, they will appoint an administrator. They have said that everyone will work together.

When asked about Speaker Basavaraj Horatti's letter to the Home Minister regarding the CID's investigation into the case of CT Ravi's insult of Lakshmi Hebbalkar, he said, the Home Minister will answer on this issue.
