No Scope for MLA Trading, Says Minister H.K. Patil

"There is no room for buying MLAs, nor do I believe any such transactions are taking place," said Minister H.K. Patil, dismissing allegations of horse-trading. He was responding to MLA Vijayananda Kashappanavar’s remarks, noting that the legislator had merely expressed frustration over recent political developments.
Reacting to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi’s claims that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister were using money power to engage in horse-trading, Patil asserted that the Congress government is stable and will complete its full five-year term. He urged people to stop speculating and instead focus on the present reality.
On Rambhapuri seer's controversial comment that guarantee schemes are making people lazy, Patil said such statements are unpatriotic. “Anyone who is truly Indian or patriotic will not speak against the guarantees. It's wrong to suggest that people will become lazy because of them,” he concluded.
