Mysore palace introduces WhatsApp ticket booking

Tourists and locals visiting Mysore Palace can now avoid long waits by booking tickets via WhatsApp. The State Directorate of Electronic Citizen Service Delivery (EDCS) has launched a new ticketing system as part of the Mobile One project.
Starting Wednesday, tickets can be purchased through WhatsApp by sending a message with "Hi" to the number 8884160088 or by scanning the QR code available on the Mysore Palace Board website at https://mysorepalace.karnataka.gov.in. The new system, developed by the EDCS, allows for convenient ticket purchases in Kannada or English.
The tickets are valid for five days from the date of purchase, and visitors can tour the palace from 10 am to 5:30 pm. The Deputy Director of Mysore Palace Board announced that this new facility aims to streamline the visitor experience and make it easier to access the historic site.
