Minister Satish Jarkiholi Vows to Ensure Justice for Land Cultivators

District in-charge Minister Satish Jarkiholi on Wednesday assured that efforts will be made to provide justice to those cultivating and residing on government land in 57 villages of Hukkeri taluk.
Addressing a gathering of Bagarhukum Committee members and residents at the Hukkeri Rural Electricity Cooperative Society premises, the minister acknowledged that over 1,500 applications seeking rights over the land had been submitted. However, none had been approved due to technical reasons. “The committee has not issued any rights certificates so far. These applications will be reviewed again, and appropriate action will be taken to ensure justice,” Jarkiholi stated.
He reaffirmed the government's commitment to the welfare of the underprivileged, saying, “Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s government stands with the poor. We will make every effort to meet your legitimate demands.”
The meeting was attended by Municipal President Imran Momin, Vidyut Cooperative Society President Jayagowda Patil, Bagarhukum Committee members Kempanna Shirahatti, Drakshaini Eshi, Sadananda Gudikade, Sikandar Sanadi, Bharti Benni, Sarada Patil, Tahsildar Manjula Nayaka, Grade-2 Tahsildar Prakash Kalloli, Taluk Panchayat EO T.R. Mallada, and others.
