Minister KN Rajanna has stated that two women allegedly involved in a honeytrap case visited his residence in Bengaluru. He recalled that they approached him, saying, "I need to talk to you about something confidentially."
Speaking about the incident, Rajanna revealed that the women met him on two separate occasions, accompanied by a young man both times. However, the women were different each time. One of them wore jeans and a blue top and later claimed to be a High Court lawyer. Initially, she did not disclose this, but during her second visit, she introduced herself as a lawyer. She insisted that her discussion was unrelated to any legal matter but needed a confidential conversation.
Rajanna stated that he had documented the details in his complaint and could identify the woman if shown her photograph. He also mentioned his intention to report the matter to the Home Minister but admitted there was no material evidence in the complaint. Additionally, his residence lacked CCTV cameras.
Dismissing allegations linking judges to the case, he clarified, "I never said that judges were involved; that is false." While a lawyer has filed a PIL, he maintained that he never named any judges. Instead, he reiterated that influential politicians from various parties were involved. Rajanna confirmed that he was formally bringing the issue to the Home Minister’s attention.
