District in-charge Minister S. Madhu Bangarappa visited the home of Manjunath, a Kannadiga killed in the Kashmir terror attack, and consoled his mother Sumati and sister Roopa. He assured the family of government support and confirmed that Manjunath’s body will arrive from Kashmir by 6 PM Wednesday. Meanwhile, MLA Gopalakrishna Belur criticized the Centre for allowing tourists in sensitive areas, recalling similar promises made after the Pulwama attack. “If travel is allowed, security must be guaranteed,” he said, questioning the government's accountability.
