KSDL Presents Rs. 108.62 Crore Dividend To Chief Minister

Minister for Large and Medium Industries MB Patil, and KSDL Chairman Nada Gowda presented a dividend cheque of Rs. 108.62 crore from Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL) to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday. This amount represents 30 percent of KSDL's profit of Rs. 362.07 crore for the fiscal year 2023-24.
This is the highest-ever dividend paid by the enterprise in its history. Additionally, a cheque of Rs. 5 crore was handed over to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah lauded KSDL’s consistent profitability since 2019-20. The enterprise, which paid a dividend of Rs. 15.91 crore five years ago, has now presented a dividend of nearly Rs. 109 crore, he said.
Minister MB Patil highlighted the government’s initiatives aimed at expanding KSDL’s presence in global markets.
Among those present at the event were LK Atheeq, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, S Selvakumar, Principal Secretary, Department of Industries, Dr PKM Prashanth, Managing Director, KSDL and KL Raveesha, General Manager, KSDL.
