JD(S) Chief Ramesh Gowda calls for soldier-like discipline

At a gathering held at JD(S) headquarters, JP Bhavan, Urban JD(S) Unit President H.M. Ramesh Gowda called upon Seva Dal members to uphold the party’s secular values and legacy. Speaking to volunteers and office-bearers on Saturday, he urged them to serve with discipline and efficiency, like soldiers, and remain committed to the principles that define the Janata Dal (Secular).
The meeting was attended by key party members, including Seva Dal Division President P. Mahesh, Bangalore City Women’s Wing President Shaila Santoji Rao, Working President K.V. Narayanaswamy, General Secretary S. Ramesh, GP member Tara Lokesh, Youth Wing President Samuel, and others.
Ramesh Gowda praised the efforts of Yuva Janata Dal State President Nikhil Kumaraswamy, who is actively traveling across Karnataka to strengthen the party’s base through a state-wide membership drive. He emphasized that Seva Dal units must play a proactive role in supporting this initiative at the grassroots level.
Highlighting the organizational responsibilities of Seva Dal, he said they must ensure that all party programs, public meetings, and large-scale events held at the party office run smoothly and with discipline. He added that the dedication and sincerity of party workers will be key in ensuring the success of future campaigns and events.
Ramesh Gowda concluded by encouraging members to work with unity, energy, and integrity to build a strong foundation for the party’s future growth and success.
