Kottur Manjunath, former MLA from Mulbagilu said that he will not talk about contesting from Mulbagilu constituency till the end of this month. Speaking to reporters in Kolar, he said, the case of relationship caste certificate is in the court. So I won't talk about it until the end of this month. However, I have no interest to contest in Chikkaballapur constituency leaving Kolar district. I will contest in Mulabagilu constituency itself, no doubt, he said. Kottur Manjunath, who had arrived at Avani Jatra in Mulabagilu taluk, said, I have never joined politics for power.
Even now I have no desire to stand in the elections. I am contesting elections only for the love and trust of the people. If you want to come to politics and make money, it will not work. If you want to lose money, you have to join politics. I am doing social service with love, he said. Other officers come to the office during working hours and leave for home in the evening. But the life of a politician is not like that. If you don't eat at the right time, you will get sick. They call in the middle of the night and tell about problems. We must settle. Hundreds of people call a day. Not all calls can be received. So, we will solve the problems as much as possible, he said.
