School Education and Literacy Department and District In-charge Minister S Madhu Bangarappa received petitions from the public at the city in-charge Minister's office on Monday.

 Addressing a press conference on the occasion, he said that the district has secured 4th position in the state in the SSLC examination, and students named Nithya M Kulkarni of Ramakrishna Vidyalaya in Gopal, Priyadarshini School and Sahisnu of Adichunchanagiri Vidyasatha have scored 625 out of 625 and increased the fame of the district.

The result of the 2024-25 examination 1 is 8.5 percent higher than last year. 

A lot of changes were made in the department this time to get good results. Special classes were conducted for students in the evening in all schools across the state.

The number of mock tests was increased. The district administration, G.P., other departments, teachers, parents, students have achieved good results, and he thanked everyone who cooperated in this.

To benefit rural, backward, farmers and poor children, no fee has been charged for students who have failed in the PUC and SSLC examinations. In addition, the system of taking the exam immediately online has been implemented, which has been very successful.

 The dates of Exam 2 and Exam 3 have been announced just after the SSLC exam results.

SSLC Exam-2 will be held from May 26 to June 2 and Exam-3 from June 23 to 30, he said.

He said that about 17,000 teachers will be recruited, including about 11,000 for government schools and 6,500 for aided schools.
