Achieving the top rank in the science stream without private tuition, a doctor's daughter has set an inspiring example.
Amulya Kamath, a student of Expert PU College, Kodialbail, and a resident of Bantwal taluk, has secured 599 marks in the PUC results, becoming the state topper in science. Despite being the daughter of well-known doctors, Dr Dinesh Kamath and Dr Anuradha Kamath, she dreams of becoming an engineer instead of following in their footsteps.
What makes her success even more special is that she relied entirely on classroom learning without taking any extra tuition.
Speaking about her achievement, Amulya said, "I got 599 marks. My college friends, father and mother cooperated in getting this mark. Both my father and mother are doctors. But I am interested in technical subjects. I want to become an engineer."
Along with academics, Amulya is also active in the arts. She has completed her senior in Bharatanatyam and junior in Carnatic classical music.
